Introductions

Inquiry excursion/data collection

 

Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes; we will be going outside for about 45 minutes and the weather is likely to be hot and humid.

Session 2

Inquiring into our excursion experience

 

We will explore the fundamentals of inquiry learning and pedagogy using our own experience and data collected in the morning.

Making Learning Visible I

 

Appropriate classroom culture for inquiry pedagogy and the practice of documentation to support inquiry.

 

Light afternoon refreshments will be available beginning at 3pm but there will be no formal afternoon break

The role of selected hardware and software tools will be explored. Participants are encouraged to bring their own tablets or laptops.

Pulling it all together

 

Participants will construct a learning story.
